Doctors at St Colluthus Medical Centre
DR PAUL WOOD
Dr Paul Wood graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle in 2001 and then went on to complete a Graduate Diploma of Lifestyle Medicine at Avondale University College in 2018. He is an International Board of Lifestyle Medicine Certified Physician, as well as a Fellow of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
Dr Wood has a very strong interest in lifestyle medicine and preventative healthcare, focusing on helping patients make sustainable, evidence-based changes to improve their overall wellbeing and increase their longevity.
Outside of work, Dr Wood is a passionate birdwatcher (“twitcher”), who enjoys identifying and recording bird species.
DR SHANNON MARSH
Shannon graduated from UQ in 2014 with MBBS and prior to this a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2005. He gained fellowship with RACGP at the beginning of 2019.
He enjoys chronic health care, antenatal care, children's health and building healthy relationships with his patients.
He moved to the Kempsey area to have a better outside lifestyle with his family and hopefully grow some vegetables. Outside of work he will be found building lego with his kids or washing his car.
DR GLEB GORBATKOV
Dr Gleb completed his medical degree through Flinders University, South Australia, in 2016. He spent several years working at Royal Adelaide Hopsital and the Flinders Medical Centre gaining broad experience across a range of medical and surgical specialties.
Dr Gleb is now a GP Registrar at St Colluthus Medical Centre where he enjoys the variety and continuity of care that general practice offers. Dr Gleb is passionate about providing comprehensive healthcare and supporting patients through all stages of life with a particular interest in chronic disease management.
Outside of work Dr Gleb considers himself an amateur gardener and enjoys traveling Europe. He speaks English & Russian.
DR OMID JAVANBAKHT
Dr Omid completed his Doctor of Medicine at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Iran, in 2018 and practiced medicine in Iran for six years before moving to Australia.
He joined St Colluthus Medical Centre in 2024 and enjoys providing care across all areas of general practice, with particular interests in preventative health, chronic disease management, and men’s health. Dr Omid is committed to building supportive, comfortable, and long-term relationships with his patients, helping them achieve their best possible health.
Dr Omid speaks English, Azerbaijani, and Persian.
DR FARNAZ AFIAT MILANI
Dr Farnaz graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2017 and has over seven years of experience as a medical doctor. She joined St Colluthus Medical Centre in 2024 and enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in chronic disease management, women’s health, and preventative care.
Dr Farnaz is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care and takes pride in building genuine, long-term relationships with her patients. She strives to support ongoing health and wellbeing through compassionate and collaborative care.
Dr Farnaz speaks English, Azerbaijani, and Persian.
DR ELIZABETH QIAN
Dr Elizabeth completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales and spent three years working across several hospitals in New South Wales gaining broad clinical experience. She is currently a GP Registrar with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners working at St Colluthus Medical Centre.
Dr Elizabeth enjoys all aspects of general practice and is particularly passionate about women’s health. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care and sincerely values building strong, long-term relationships with her patients.
When at home Dr Elizabeth enjoys caring for her pitcher plant.
DR DOMINIC JEAN-RICHARD-DIT-BRESSEL
Dr Dominic completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) at the University of New South Wales before obtaining a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Sydney. He undertook his internship and residency at Macquarie University Hospital, followed by a Senior Resident Medical Officer position at Concord Hospital and then 18mths in Port Macquarie as a GP Registrar.
Dr Dominic has recently joined the medical team at St Colluthus Medical Centre as a GP Registrar and has a particular interest in skin cancer. Dr Dominic is passionate about providing high-quality personalised care to all his patients.
Outside of work, Dr Dominic enjoys gardening, playing board games, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr Greg Moritz
Dr Greg Moritz is an experienced GP based in Melbourne. He has joined our team in a telehealth capacity and will be doing telehealth consultations on Tuesday afternoons and Thursday afternoons only. He practices at another privately billing clinic in Melbourne on his other days in a face-to-face capacity. Greg expressed an interest in supporting a practice in regional Australia via telehealth and St Colluthus Medical Centre welcomes his contribution to our community.
Dr Moritz has a family living with him in Melbourne, a wife and teenage children who are currently in secondary school.
